Job summary

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, FL, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering to lead the engineering team and ensure operations align with brand standards.

You will support all departments, manage maintenance of equipment, building and grounds, and drive safety and efficiency across the property. A background in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years in a senior engineering role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ideally a university degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Director of Engineering or Engineering Manager.
• Strong problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills required.

You will be responsible forthe efficient running ofthe department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies andbrand standards, whilst meetingemployee, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Director of Engineering is responsible to assist the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.

Qualifications

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Director of Engineering, or Engineering Manager. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
