Job summary

Turner & Townsend in India is seeking a cost management professional to support pre-qualification activities and assist client teams on complex, high-value packages. You will analyze PQ criteria, initiate PQ processes, and shortlist bidders, helping ensure alignment with client requirements.

Responsibilities include budget preparation and updating, verification of interim and final bills, tracking costs and compliance, and leading cost reports. Proficiency with CostX and MS Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of pre-contract and post-cost management.
• Experience leading budgets, cost to complete, procurement, and tendering.
• Ability to perform cost audits as needed.
• Knowledge of change management and cost reporting.
• Working knowledge of CostX, MS Excel, and related software.
• Ability to lead value engineering exercises.

Job Description

Will be responsible for pre-qualification works and assist client team. Assessment of the Package & its requirement based on the set PQ criteria as per client requirement. Managing and tailoring the PQ requirement as per the package, Initiation of pre-qualification process, Analyzing the PQ documents & questionnaire and shortlists the company.

Will be responsible for the deliverables like assisting in budget preparation & updation along with quantification work, verification of contractor interim Bills and Final Bills. Assisting the projects from front and other cost team member. Presenting the project cost related information as per Client requirements. Assisting in Managing all the projects billing related works. Tracking of Bills, cost and related compliances works. Lead for commitments and activity at the project.

Qualifications

Should possess in depth knowledge of pre contract & post cost management works and other associated works.

Leading effectively with preparation of budget, cost to complete, & procurement & tendering process.

Should be able to perform Cost audit work, as necessary.

Should have knowledge of implementing change management process & can prepare cost reports.

Should have working knowledge of Cost X , MS Excel and other related software.

Should be able to assist/lead a Project in value engineering exercise.
