Job summary

Surbana Jurong is a global engineering and development consultancy delivering infrastructure and urban solutions across 35+ countries. This role supports the Construction Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day construction activities on water supply projects, including WTPs, pumping stations, pipelines and civil works.

You will monitor progress against drawings and schedules, review contractor methodologies and resource deployment, ensure compliance with drawings and QA/QC

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising day-to-day construction activities.
• Monitor construction progress against approved drawings, specifications, work programmes, and project schedules.
• Supervise construction of water supply infrastructure, including WTPs, pumping stations, reservoirs, pipelines, valve chambers, roads, and allied civil structures.
• Review contractors' construction methodologies, work programmes, resource deployment, and site execution plans.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, design teams, QA/QC personnel, and client representatives to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with approved QA/QC procedures and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Monitor contractor manpower, equipment, and material deployment and highlight resource constraints affecting project progress.
