Job summary

Aakash Educational Services (AESL) is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in the Sales division to drive admissions by leading ATL and BTL marketing initiatives, school seminars, and local outreach.

The role reports to the Branch Head and requires 2–7 years in education sales, with strong customer handling, public speaking, and willingness to travel across PAN India to counsel students and parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; professional preferences include BTech / MBA / Masters in Psychology or Education.
• Previous counselling experience in education or careers counselling is preferred.
• Experience in Business to Customer (B2C) sales across industries is desirable.
• Excellent networking and presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Generate admissions by conducting ATL & BTl marketing activities such as school seminars and open sessions.
• Visit schools to meet principals, coordinators and management for business development.
• Provide a delightful customer experience during home visits to counsel students and parents and close admissions.
• Capitalize on opportunities by liaising with local tuition teachers.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance.

Purpose

Admission officer is responsible for lead generation through a variety of marketing activities resulting in counselling and enrolling the students.

Responsibilities

1. Generate admissions by conducting Above the Line (ATL) & Below The Line (BTL) marketing activities such as seminars in schools, open seminars in town & residential spots.
2. Contribute towards set targets by doing school visits for meeting principals, coordinators & management personals for business development.
3. Ensure a delightful customer experience while going for home visits to counsel students and parents & close admissions.
4. Capitalize on business opportunities by liaising with local tuition teachers.
5. Ensure adherence to internal process and compliances.

Qualifications

1. Ability to handle customers in an empathic & patient manner.
2. Must have strong sales persuasion skills.
3. Excellent networking and presentation skills to conduct seminars.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and writing emails, & comfortable while working on software related to sales & services.
5. Fluency in English and Regional Language.
