Responsibilities
- Knowledge of functional and environmental Parts & BOP Items for Assembly
- Ability to read, comprehend and complete work orders and instructions, conforms to and operates within the framework of all applicable operator work instructions, SOPs, quality, safety procedures and items as deemed by your supervisor or management
- Remains aligned with manufacturing engineering to ensure change implementation at Assembly shop
- Assembling arms in accordance with company standards along with Properly conduct Quality checks in accordance with company standards
- Carry out day to day repairs on unit(s) Parts & BOP Items and inspect and repair weapon(s) for operations on request; both on deployment and repatriation
- Ensure that all incoming receipts (Parts & BOP Items & ancillary items) are checked and put to stock correctly. Any discrepancy action should be discussed with the Lead Assembly or in his absence the Stores Manager
- Carry out inspections and repairs to all weapons to 1st Line repair as required
- Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures
- Interpretation of engineering drawing and related specifications
Qualifications
Must: Diploma in mechanical
Relevant EXPERIENCE: Must: Minimum Of 5-7 Years Related Experience
Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable: Experience as inspector in Parts & BOP Items Assembly, Working Experience in Defence Sector
