Job summary

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an Assembly Fitter with hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, component fitting, and engineering drawing interpretation. Candidates with experience in aerospace structural components and sheet metal assembly will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and fitting of aerospace structural components, sheet metal parts, brackets, panels, and subassemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
• Perform drilling, reaming, countersinking, deburring, and hole preparation operations.
• Install fasteners, rivets, bolts, nuts, and other approved hardware.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ensure correct alignment, fitment, clearances, and dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect components and verify dimensions using measuring instruments.
• Follow approved work instructions, process sheets, and engineering change documentation.
• Maintain product traceability and assembly and inspection records.
• Identify and report defects, non-conformities, and process deviations.
• Follow 5S principles and workplace safety procedures.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet quality and delivery targets.
