Job summary

LTM in Chennai, India seeks a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain C# applications using ASP.NET MVC/ASP.NET Core, and to build REST APIs and microservices.

You will collaborate with front-end teams, optimize SQL Server and EF Core data access, implement security best practices, and deploy to cloud in a CI/CD workflow.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining C# applications with ASP.NET MVC/Core and Web API.
• Solid SQL experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL and EF Core.
• Proficiency in front-end basics and modern frameworks; good collaboration with UI teams.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code using ASP.NET / .NET Core.
• API Integration: Develop and consume RESTful Web APIs and microservices.
• Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and utilize Entity Framework (EF) for data persistence.
• Front-End Integration: Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Code Quality & Testing: Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and debug software issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Cloud & Deployment: Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Security & Compliance: Implement data protection, user authentication (OAuth, JWT), and secure coding practices.

Technical Requirements

• Core Frameworks: Deep understanding of ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Databases: Solid experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, along with Entity Framework Core.
