Job summary

Saamsha Technologies is seeking an AS400 Cobol Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. The role involves working on AS400 development/enhancement projects across PAN India, leveraging CL, COBOL, SQL and RPG family technologies.

Exposure to web services and APIs is required, with a focus on delivering high-quality releases. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of AS400 concepts, DBU utilities, subfiles, and turnover/change-management tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in AS400 Development/Enhancement Projects.
• Very strong expertise AS400: CL, COBOL, SQL, RPG / RPG IV, RPG Free Format, RPGLE.
• Strong knowledge of AS400 concepts, including DBU: WRKQRY, Subfiles, JOBs, JDs, Related AS400 tasks.
• Exposure to Web Services: APIs, XML / JSON.
• Strong experience in unit testing and delivering releases with no critical defects to the testing team or customer team.
• Knowledge of Change Management Tools. Experience with Turnover is an added advantage.
• Experience working on AS400 interface applications.
