Job description

The tasks an Installation Engineer – OTN/DWDM is expected to perform include:

• Installing OTN and DWDM equipment at the Telecom mobile sites
• Coordination with customer for site access, RFI confirmation & materials availability
• Material verification at site with respect to site BoQ
• DCDB installation, Power cable/Grounding cable laying to DCDB/Power plant and Power tapping in ECI Box / RACK DCDB MCB and labelling
• Installation and Commissioning of MUX equipment as per plan including Rack installation
• Patch Cord routing, labelling, and connecting to relevant boxes as per the NDD/Plan
• Integration & Node AT as per plan along with Power meter, Digital VOA and 1G/10G tester for multi rate SFP’s, Prepare AT document and Sign Off from customer
• Coordination with customer for site acceptance, material handover, punch point clearance.
• Ring readiness and propose for AT in coordination with NMS Integration team. Punch point clearance for stability, doc submission and closure till NOC RFS
• Sharing of photos like Installation, Grounding, Routing of cables, Labelling, site status before leaving site
• Balance handover of materials to customer on mail
• Training will be provided in OTN, DWDM and L3 Technologies.
• Travelling is part of the job.

Working hours: Candidate should be ready to work on flexible working hours as per project requirement.
