Job summary

Landor Mumbai Studio is seeking an Artworker to translate brand guidelines into accurate print-ready artworks, ensuring production specs are precise.

You will mock-up and sign-off artworks, collaborate with design and client services, and help develop clear guidelines for internal and external use. Hybrid work four days in office in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in packaging production and cutter guides.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Advanced skills with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Follow brand guidelines, briefs and legal requirements to create accurate artworks with print/production specs.
• Mock-up and sign-off artworks and samples; amend promptly as needed.
• Foresee and resolve potential issues in new brand artwork creation.
• Liaise with departments and stakeholders regarding design details, production info and factory requirements.
• Collaborate with Design team to create clear design guidelines for internal/external users.

What you’ll do

• Follow brand guidelines, designers’ briefs, and legal requirements to create accurate artworks with clear and detailed print/production specifications.
• Mock-up and sign-off artworks and samples, completing any necessary amendments in a timely manner.
• Foresee, identify, discuss, and solve any potential problems in relation to creating new brands.
• Liaise with relevant departments and key stakeholders regarding design details, specifics and legalities of artwork, production information, and factory requirements. Originate artwork from visuals under the direction of creatives and client servicing managers.
• In collaboration with the Design team, review ongoing work and creates design guidelines from the work that are clear, logical, comprehensive, and easy to understand for any potential internal or external user.

What you’ll need

• Relevant experience in a similar role, with solid technical knowledge of packaging production and cutter guides experience and experience of retouching/visualising techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple, concurrent projects is a must.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite CC (highly skilled in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).
