About the internship

Medinex Workforce reads a lot of text every day: resumes, job descriptions, client emails and interview notes. Much of that reading is repetitive, and it is exactly where modern AI tools can help, by summarising a profile, pulling key details out of a resume or drafting a first reply. But an AI answer is only useful if it is correct and consistent. In this internship you will build small AI-powered features and test whether they actually work. You will learn how teams use language models on real business tasks, and how to measure their output instead of trusting it blindly.

What you will do

• - Build prototypes using Python and LLM APIs, such as resume summarisers, data extractors and simple chatbots
• - Write, test and refine prompts to get accurate and consistent outputs
• - Evaluate AI answers for accuracy, consistency and bias, and record the results
• - Prepare, clean and label sample data used to test the prototypes
• - Explore automation ideas such as resume parsing, email drafting and text classification
• - Train and test basic machine learning models with Scikit-learn where needed
• - Use Git and GitHub for version control
• - Document every experiment and finding, and share progress in daily check-ins and a weekly review

What we are looking for

• - Working knowledge of Python
• - Understanding of basic machine learning ideas such as training, testing and overfitting
• - Curiosity about how prompts shape the output of language models
• - The habit of testing ideas and recording what happened
• - A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work

Nice to have

• - Experience with Pandas, NumPy or Scikit-learn
• - Exposure to LangChain, TensorFlow or PyTorch
• - A GitHub project, Kaggle notebook or AI experiment you built
