Job summary

Crisil is seeking a seasoned AI/ML engineer to drive generative AI initiatives, deploying models and integrating ML pipelines across cloud platforms. The role emphasizes Python expertise, deep learning frameworks, and scalable systems in a collaborative environment.

You will lead design and implementation of AI solutions, ensure governance and production readiness, and work with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python proficiency and software engineering fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms, testing, version control, design patterns).
• Generative AI: LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, agents, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and responsible AI.
• Hands-on ML/DL with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Building apps with LLMs, orchestration tools, embeddings, and vector search tech.
• Cloud deployment of AI workloads (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and IaC.”
• Model deployment, monitoring, optimization, governance, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and technical leadership skills.

Job description

• Advanced proficiency in Python and strong software engineering foundations, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, testing, version control, and design patterns.
• Generative AI: LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, agents, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and responsible AI.
• Strong hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Practical experience building applications with large language models and related frameworks, orchestration tools, embedding models, and vector search technologies.
• Experience deploying AI workloads on at least one major cloud platform—preferably Microsoft Azure—or equivalent experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Demonstrated experience with model deployment, monitoring, optimization, governance, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and technical leadership skills.
