Job summary

Mitigata is seeking an experienced ML/AI Engineer to design, train, and deploy models for cybersecurity applications. You will work with SIEM/EDR data, build scalable pipelines, and push AI features into production.

The role requires hands-on experience with LLMs, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure). Collaboration with security researchers and product teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building & deploying ML/DL models in production.
• Hands-on with LLMs (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, embeddings).
• Strong Python programming.
• Experience with security data (SIEM, EDR, network flow).
• Knowledge of threat hunting, MITRE ATT&CK, and SOC workflows.

At @Mitigata, you'll build the models that power India's cyber shield - ML, Deep Learning, and LLM-driven systems for anomaly detection, phishing defense, malware pattern identification, and behavioral threat scoring, working shoulder-to-shoulder with security researchers and product teams.

About the role:

You'll design, train, fine-tune, and deploy models on real cybersecurity data - SIEM logs, EDR, network flows, and security telemetry - build scalable data pipelines, push models to production, and monitor for drift and retraining. You'll turn real threat use cases into AI-driven product features and keep the product on the front edge of AI + security research.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years building & deploying ML/DL models in production
• Hands-on with LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral) - fine-tuning, prompt engineering, embeddings, inference optimization
• Strong Python + TensorFlow / PyTorch / Scikit-learn / Hugging Face
• Experience with security data (SIEM, EDR, network flow, cloud telemetry)
• Grounding in core security concepts - threat hunting, malware behavior, SOC workflows, MITRE ATT&CK
• Production deployment with Docker / Kubernetes / AWS / GCP / Azure
• Strong analytical, problem-solving & debugging skills

Nice to have:

• Anomaly detection or graph-based threat modeling
• Prior cybersecurity product or R&D experience
