Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a senior AI engineering lead to drive end-to-end AI product development from design to production deployment. The role focuses on building AI/LLM-based applications using modern APIs, RAG, and agentic frameworks, with cloud-native architectures.

You will guide a team of 4-5 engineers, collaborate with clients to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, and own deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement across the project

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience with at least 3-4 years in Generative AI/LLM solution development.
• Strong expertise in Python, REST APIs, AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, coding agentic frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI products.
• Bachelor's degree or Masters degree in any related field.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions using Azure/AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical oversight for AI-assisted application development, ensuring solutions are designed for long-term scalability, maintainability, and enterprise adoption.
• Guide and mentor a team of 4-5 engineers, manage sprint execution, and remove technical roadblocks.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, propose technical solutions, provide project updates, and ensure successful delivery.
• Drive production support, performance optimization, security, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Own the end-to-end product ionization process, including architecture reviews, risk assessments, approvals, cloud deployment, and operational handover.
