Job summary

Nxtwave Disruptive Technologies is seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable GenAI platforms within our enterprise platform engineering team. You will own GenAI architecture, oversee LLMOps, and drive secure, production-grade AI across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will design reusable RAG pipelines, embeddings, and multi-agent orchestration while ensuring governance, cost efficiency, and robust testing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on GenAI architecture ownership and production deployment knowledge.
• Excellent knowledge of LLMs, vector databases, reranking and hybrid search.
• Experience taking AI solutions from architecture to production at enterprise scale.
• Good understanding of cloud architecture (AWS or Azure) and hybrid/on-prem environments.

Job description

We are looking for an AI Architect to join our enterprise platform engineering team and build high-quality, scalable, and production-grade AI platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GenAI architecture, LLMOps, RAG, Agentic workflows, and cloud infrastructure, along with a passion for driving architectural trade-offs, enterprise security, and taking AI solutions from conception to production scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and multi-tenant enterprise AI and GenAI platforms.
• Build reusable, modular, and production-grade RAG pipelines, embeddings, and hybrid search solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured orchestration workflows for multi-agent systems and tool calling.
• Integrate AI solutions with cloud and on-premise backend infrastructure using AWS or Azure services.
• Implement robust LLMOps, model observability, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.
• Optimize applications for performance, token efficiency, scalability, and cost reduction.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve platform architecture issues across development and production environments.
• Conduct architecture reviews and contribute to enterprise AI governance and Responsible AI standards.
• Write and maintain evaluation benchmarks to ensure high-quality and safe model delivery.
• Participate in technical discussions, build-vs-buy decisions, target architecture mapping, and stakeholder consulting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering and cloud infrastructure development.
• Strong hands-on experience with GenAI architecture ownership and modern production deployment practices.
• Excellent knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), vector databases, reranking, and hybrid search.
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI, including state management, orchestration frameworks, and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of LLMOps/MLOps pipelines, enterprise security, data privacy, and governance.
• Experience taking end-to-end AI solutions from architecture to production and enterprise scale.
• Good understanding of cloud architecture (AWS or Azure preferred) and hybrid/on-prem environments.
• Experience with model evaluation tools, testing frameworks, and continuous telemetry optimization.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and standard software development workflows.
• Strong understanding of architectural tradeoffs regarding cost, performance, and security.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, stakeholder-facing, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a large enterprise, industrial, or manufacturing data environment.
