Job summary

TaskUs is hiring an AI/ML Engineering Manager in India (Gurugram) to lead a team of AI/ML engineers. You will design and deploy ML models, work with NLP/LLM/GenAI technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT or related fields.
• 4–6 years of experience in ML/AI.
• Hands-on in building and deploying AI products (NLP/LLM/GenAI).
• Strong OO programming with Python and FastAPI; GenAI prompting.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ML models to solve business problems using AI/NLP/LLM/GenAI.
• Develop algorithms for data processing, feature extraction, and model training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop machine learning models to solve complex business problems using AI,NLP, NLU, LLM, and Generative AI technologies
• Develop and implement algorithms for data processing, feature extraction, and model training
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and create solutions that meet those requirements
• Identify and evaluate new AI technologies and tools that can improve the performance and efficiency of our products
• Manage and mentor a team of AI and Machine Learning Engineers
• Ensure that the products are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and are scalable
• Communicate technical solutions and results to non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
• 4 to 6 years of experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Hands-on experience in building and deploying AI-based products using NLP, NLU, LLM, and Generative AI technologies
• Strong hands on experience in Object Oriented Programming System, Python , FastAPI , Generative AI Prompting .
• Experience in containerisation(docker), Jenkins.
• Experience in leading and managing a team of AI and Machine Learning Engineers
• Experience in AWS AI Services would be added advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and critically
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and project management

Key Skills :

• Agentic Frameworks - LangChain, Multi-agent systems , Episodic memory, Semantic memory , tool orchestration.
• Vector Databases / RAG - Vector DB (Anyone) , Embeddings , Hybrid search (semantic + keyword) , Chunking, context window optimization ,Metadata filtering, Hybrid pipelines
• LLMs / GenAI - Prompt engineering , Fine-tuning, LoRA, PEFT , Guardrails , Context window.
• Infrastructure - AWS (S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, SageMaker) , Docker , CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) , Model serving (FastAPI), Secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager) , GPU acceleration (CUDA)
