Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Articled Assistant role based in New Delhi. The Articled Assistant will support audits, taxation assignments, and accounting work under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing and verifying financial statements, assisting in statutory and tax audits, drafting tax computations and returns, and maintaining working papers and documentation. The role will also involve researching accounting and tax issues, preparing reports and schedules, and coordinating with clients to collect data and clarify queries. The position is designed to provide structured practical training aligned with professional qualification requirements.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in CA course (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per applicable regulations) and eligibility to register as an Articled Assistant.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping practices.
• Interest or foundational knowledge in direct and indirect taxation, including returns, compliance, and basic tax provisions.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in working with numbers and documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word); familiarity with accounting or tax software is an advantage.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to work diligently on-site, manage deadlines, and handle multiple assignments with guidance.
