Job summary

MatchLab Talent in Pune is offering a full-time CA Articleship Trainee role to support audit, taxation, accounting, and compliance tasks while undergoing structured practical training.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CA and eligible to start articleship as per ICAI norms.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and taxation basics.
• Proficient MS Excel and basic accounting software experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, and related documentation.
• Support preparation and review of financial statements, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Gain hands-on exposure to direct and indirect tax assignments and basic compliance work.
• Assist with ROC filings, company law compliance, and maintenance of statutory records.
• Support client data collection, vouching, verification, and working papers.
• Help with accounting, MIS preparation, and basic financial analysis under supervision.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and tax provisions relevant to assignments.

Job Title: Articled Assistant / CA Articleship Trainee

Location: Railway Station Chowk, near Chinchwad, Pune

Job Type: Full-time Articleship

Working Days: Monday - Saturday

About the Role

The articled assistant will support the firm in audit, taxation, accounting, and compliance assignments while undergoing structured practical training as part of the CA journey. The role is suited for candidates pursuing chartered accountancy who want hands-on exposure to client assignments, statutory work, and professional reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and related documentation.
• Support preparation and review of financial statements, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Gain hands-on experience in valuation and financial modelling.
• Work on direct tax and indirect tax assignments, including return preparation and basic compliance support.
• Assist in ROC filings, company law compliance, and maintenance of statutory records.
• Participate in client data collection, vouching, verification, and working paper preparation during assignments.
• Help with accounting, MIS preparation, and basic financial analysis as required by the reporting manager.
• Stay up to date on applicable accounting standards, tax provisions, and regulatory changes relevant to the assigned work.

Eligibility

• The candidate is pursuing CA and is eligible to start articleship as per ICAI norms.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, taxation basics, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical ability, willingness to learn, and professional communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Tally, Excel, and accounting or tax software.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines during audits and compliance cycles.
