Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE school preferred.
• B.Ed. will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging art lesson plans for students across various age groups and grade levels.
• Teach drawing, painting, sketching, craft work, design, and other visual art techniques using age-appropriate methodologies.
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression.
• Organize classroom activities, projects, exhibitions, and competitions to enhance student engagement and artistic development.
• Evaluate student performance through practical assignments, portfolios, projects, and classroom participation.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their artistic skills and confidence.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, grades, and progress reports.
• Prepare and manage art materials, supplies, and classroom resources effectively.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership in planning interdisciplinary activities, school events, exhibitions, annual functions, and celebrations.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, professional development programs, and curriculum planning initiatives.
• Foster appreciation for arts, culture, and creativity while ensuring student safety and discipline in the classroom.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance learning outcomes wherever appropriate.
• Ability to organize art exhibitions, competitions, and creative workshops.
