Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and introduce learners to traditional art forms such as drawing, craft, painting and sculpture.
• Acquire and manage art supplies and resources.
• Provide instruction in creative activities aligned with the CIE curriculum.
• Encourage critical and imaginative thinking through traditional and modern art forms.
• Develop students’ art skills and integrate art with other subjects.

Our unique pedagogy, the Northstar Approach, is a research-based approach to learning and teaching that helps students achieve their highest potential by exploring and making discoveries about themselves and their world. Responsibilities:

To develop lesson plans and introduce learners to a number of traditional art forms, including drawing, craft, painting, sculpture etc.

To be responsible for acquiring and managing art supplies and resources.

To provide instruction in a number of creative and challenging activities aimed at learners in sync with CIE curriculum.

To encourage learners to think both critically and imaginatively through the various forms of traditional and modern art work.

To develop an understanding and an attitude towards the art skills to benefit the students in applying it in real life and integrate it with other subjects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in Education
• Prior experience in teaching at progressive organisations is beneficial
