Job summary

Openhouse invites passionate Teacher Partners to deliver engaging Art classes to children across Bangalore learning centers. You will follow the Openhouse curriculum, guide creative activities, track student progress, and share updates with parents and the management team.

This role is part-time, 20 hours per week, with weekday and weekend slots assigned on location according to your preference, and opportunities to lead showcases and participate in community events.

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching art to children.
• Strong communication and classroom management.
• Prior experience teaching art is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classes: Prepare for and conduct Art classes using the Openhouse curriculum, facilitating activities such as drawing, painting, craft, and mixed-media projects.
• Track student development: Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and provide meaningful feedback to parents and the management team through regular updates and progress reports.
• Support the learning community: Interact with parents during feedback sessions, workshops, and events, and collaborate with the management team to support student trials and admissions when required.
• Lead showcases and events: Prepare students for showcases, exhibitions, and events, conduct rehearsals where required, and participate in training and team meetings.

About the Role

Teacher Partners at Openhouse deliver engaging, high-quality Art classes for children while taking ownership of student progress, parent experience, and the overall learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and helping them explore creativity through different art forms and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classes: Prepare for and conduct Art classes using the Openhouse curriculum, facilitating activities such as drawing, painting, craft, and mixed-media projects.
• Track student development: Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and provide meaningful feedback to parents and the management team through regular updates and progress reports.

Who Are We Looking For

• Individuals passionate about teaching Art to children.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage children creatively and encourage exploration through different art forms.
• Prior experience teaching Art to children is preferred.
  

Time Commitment

Any 5 days of the week (20 hours per week, 4 hours each day you choose):

• Weekday Timings: 3:0 PM 7:0 PM
• Weekend Timings: 9:0 AM 1:0 PM

Location

Classes are conducted across Bangalore at learning centers or apartment complexes. The location will be assigned according to your preference.

Compensation

INR 20,000 30,000 per month depending on performance in interview rounds.
