Business Development Manager.
Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad & Pune
Experience: 8-10 years in the same profile
Compensation: 8,00,000 - 12,00,000 per annum
Role Objective
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth through new client acquisition, key account expansion, and relationship management. You will work closely with leadership, design, and execution teams to pitch ARNK's integrated solutions and ensure project conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales & Lead Generation: Identify high-potential sectors such as corporate offices, coworking spaces, retail chains, hotels, and institutions; generate qualified leads through referrals, network, events, digital sources, and cold outreach; respond to RFPs, tenders, and architectural bids for turnkey interiors
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with architects, project consultants, PMCs, admin heads, and procurement teams; conduct site visits, client briefings, and capability presentations tailored to project scope; engage in long-term relationship building and post-handover satisfaction follow-ups
- Commercial Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Estimation, Procurement) for BOQ, cost sheet, and timelines; negotiate pricing, scope, and deliverables in line with margin expectations; ensure timely submission of commercial proposals, drawings, and contracts
- Market Intelligence & Positioning: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging sectors; identify gaps in ARNK's service offerings and propose new packages (modular furniture, MEP, branding); represent ARNK at trade expos, B2B events, and professional forums
- Reporting & Team Oversight: Maintain CRM entries, weekly funnel reports, and project status trackers; mentor and monitor junior BD executives and coordinate with marketing for lead alignment; submit monthly sales forecasts, win/loss reports, and customer feedback summaries
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Civil/Interior Engineering
- MBA preferred but not mandatory
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in B2B Sales/BD within interiors, real estate, or construction industry
- Proven experience in closing high-ticket turnkey interior projects (- 50 lakh - 10 Cr+ range)
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong client presentation & proposal pitching
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Technical understanding of interior materials, BOQ, MEP coordination
- Ability to work cross-functionally and handle pressure in a fast-paced setup
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, Hubspot) and MS Office
