Job summary

Paytm is seeking an experienced ASM - Manager for SMB in Siwan, Bihar. This onsite, full-time role leads the SMB sales team, drives QR and Sound Box deployments, and expands distribution in the region.

You will recruit and coach a large team, ensure targets are met, and report into leadership as Paytm continues to scale its payment solutions for merchants. The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in sales and business development, strong networking and negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 8–12 years experience in sales/business development, with track record of quota attainment.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities; quick learner who can apply new concepts.

• Growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Visibility and accountability through extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for ASMs.
• Devise best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team to minimize gap between expectations and delivery.
• Monitor quality parameters as set by management.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• People manage a large team of 5-10 ASMs and 200+ indirect employees.

• 1.Growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations.

• 6.Monitor the quality parameters as suggested by the management.


• 7.Validate and conduct audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.


• 8. People manage a large team of 5-10 ASMs & 200+ indirect employees.

Must Have: Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application the new learnt ideas and concepts.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role :

• 1. Self-starters, who can take ownership and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, will be an ideal fit. 8-12 years experience in sales - business development, B2C markets


• 2. Passionate about working in a fast growing firms and large team handling.


• 3. Articulate complex solutions to novice customers.


• 4. Good sales and negotiation skills. Experience in quota driven sales is a must.


• 5. Experience in payments and finance is a plus - though not mandatory
