Job summary

Metso India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Area Service Manager based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, to oversee service operations for Crushing & Screening plants across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and North Jharkhand.

You will manage installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance and service contracts while leading a team of Service Engineers and Technicians. Travel across the region is required to ensure timely fault resolution, customer satisfaction and service growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 6–10 years in service operations involving heavy equipment, Crushing & Screening plants, or mining equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and automation.
• Willingness to travel across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and North Jharkhand.
• Excellent customer relationship management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage service, installation, and commissioning activities for track-mounted and stationary Crushing & Screening plants.
• Handle equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting, and technical issues related to Metso/Nordberg equipment and IC automation.
• Manage preventive maintenance, warranty claims, and service contracts, including LCS and LCS Lite.
• Build strong customer relationships to improve satisfaction and retention.
• Lead, guide, and manage Service Engineers and Technicians across the assigned territory.
• Drive service business growth through spare parts sales and service orders.
• Provide technical training to customers and team members.
• Coordinate with Product Support, Sales, and Spare Parts teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
• Monitor service performance and ensure effective field service delivery across the region.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support customers and service operations.

Introduction

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Area Service Manager to join Metso India Pvt. Ltd. In this role, you will manage service operations for Crushing & Screening equipment across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and North Jharkhand, ensuring reliable equipment performance, high customer satisfaction, and service business growth.

This role is based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, covering U.P., Bihar, and North Jharkhand.

Team you will belong to

You will work closely with Service Engineers, Technicians, Product Support, Sales, and Spare Parts teams to deliver effective service solutions to customers. The team focuses on equipment reliability, operational excellence, customer relationships, and the growth of Metsos service business.
