Job summary

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon is seeking an experienced Area Lead Telecommunication Engineering to lead telecom activities for offshore oil & gas projects from FEED through startup. You will oversee design, documentation, and interface coordination across PA/GA, LAN/WAN, fiber, CCTV, access control, and radio systems, ensuring compliance with standards and client specs.

The role demands hands-on leadership, technical excellence, and ability to mentor telecom engineers.

Qualifications

• BE in engineering or equivalent.
• 15-20 years of related experience in telecom for offshore oil & gas projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead telecom engineering activities from FEED to startup on offshore projects.
• Serve as Area Lead for all telecom system engineering within the project scope.
• Prepare and review telecom design basis, philosophy, architecture and diagrams.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement in telecom engineering.
