Job summary

Scan-IT in Pune invites a seasoned Architect – Solutions to design and maintain robust applications while leading integration initiatives across platforms. You will build high-performing, scalable, and secure systems leveraging APIs, event-driven flows, and real-time messaging to power automation, performance, and data-driven decisions enterprise-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of software/solutions architecture experience with 2+ years AI/ML-enabled design.
• Hands-on AI/ML in ERP domains (quote automation, document processing, finance).
• Strong SQL/CQL, data modeling and distributed systems knowledge.
• Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, Java, Bash, Ansible).
• Familiar with DevOps, containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and data streaming (Kafka, Spark).
• Experience standardizing enterprise integrations across platforms.
• Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable end-to-end solutions for integrated business apps and ERP systems.
• Define AI/ML architecture and integrate ML into ERP processes.
• Lead the EDI/EI framework and real-time API integrations with data pipelines.
• Design JSON/RESTful APIs and event-driven services for real-time data exchange.
• Design cloud-native deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP with Terraform/Ansible and integrate CI/CD.
• Collaborate on strategic programs and align designs with performance goals.

We are seeking a seasoned architect to play a key role in designing and maintaining robust applications while leading integration initiatives across platforms. In this role, you will be at the forefront of building high-performing, scalable, and secure systems that support seamless data exchange – leveraging APIs, event-driven flows, and real-time messaging. Your contributions will power automation, performance, and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

What You'll Do…

• Architect Scalable Solutions: Design end-to-end solutions for integrated business applications and ERP systems, ensuring scalability, high availability, and performance. Drive architectural decisions for ERP modernization, API-driven integrations, data pipelines, and microservices architecture.
• AI/ML Integration: Define the overall AI/ML architecture and frameworks. Support the development and implementation of machine learning models, natural language processing (NLP), and intelligent decision engines into core ERP processes.
• Enterprise Integration & EDI Framework: Lead the design and oversight of a robust EDI/EI framework. Integrate backend systems through real-time APIs and asynchronous data pipelines. Standardize data contracts, routing logic, transformation processes, and messaging patterns across internal systems and external partners. Replace legacy batch processing with scalable, event-based integrations using messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka).
• API & Event-Driven Architecture: As a key member of our team, design and optimize JSON/RESTful APIs and event-driven services to facilitate real-time data exchange between internal and third-party systems. Develop and manage ETL data flows into microservices or message queues, ensuring seamless integration and abstraction from underlying source technologies.
• Cloud & DevOps Enablement: Focus strategically on designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native application deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP using automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate database schema/version control and data pipelines into CI/CD workflows while ensuring secure, compliant, and cost-optimized cloud architecture.
• Enterprise Programs & Collaboration: Contribute to strategic initiatives such as the NextGen Program. Ensure application and integration designs align with performance, scalability, and long-term architectural goals. Work closely with application architects, developers, and QA teams to co-design and review data-driven solutions.

What You'll Need…

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software or solutions architecture, including at least 2 years in AI/ML-enabled enterprise solution design.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI/ML solutions in ERP domains such as quote automation, document processing, or finance automation.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/CQL, data modeling, and distributed systems architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Java, Bash, Ansible).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and data streaming platforms (Kafka, Spark).
• Experience standardizing enterprise integrations across platforms and systems.
• Solid understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
