Job summary

Genpact is seeking an Architect - DevOps to lead cloud platform enablement across Azure, IaC and CI/CD pipelines. You will design and automate deployment, security governance, and monitoring to enable reliable, scalable cloud workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS or IT.
• Master's degree in Computer Science is a plus.
• Strong cloud, automation and DevOps foundations required.
• Experience with Azure, IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement foundational cloud platform components in Azure.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment with IaC and scripting.
• Build reusable templates and frameworks for standardized cloud adoption.
• Design and manage Azure networking, IAM, and security governance.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Provide troubleshooting and operational support for cloud infra.

Platform Enablement & Automation

Design and implement foundational cloud platform components in Azure Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell (Az module) Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to enable self-service capabilities for engineering teams Build reusable templates and frameworks for standardized cloud adoption

Cloud Infrastructure & Networking

Design and manage Azure networking components including: Virtual Networks (VNets) Network Security Groups (NSGs) Load Balancers and Application Gateway ExpressRoute and hybrid connectivity Ensure secure, scalable, and highly available network architectures Support integration between cloud and on-premises environments

Identity, Security & Governance

Implement and manage Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM), including: Azure Active Directory (AAD) Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Managed Identities Conditional Access Policies Ensure adherence to security best practices and governance standards Support identity lifecycle and access control policies across cloud environments

Monitoring, Observability & Reliability

Implement monitoring solutions using: Azure Monitor Log Analytics Application Insights Configure alerts, dashboards, and diagnostics for infrastructure and applications Ensure proactive monitoring and operational visibility across environments

DevOps & CI/CD Enablement

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using: Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Enable automated deployments for infrastructure and application workloads Integrate automation workflows using Azure Automation and Logic Apps

Troubleshooting & Operational Support

Diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and platform issues Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures Support platform stability, reliability, and continuous improvement efforts

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, security, network, DevOps) Influence stakeholders and drive adoption of platform standards and best practices Act as a technical advisor for cloud architecture and platform enablement initiatives

Continuous Improvement & Learning

Stay current with Azure technologies, industry trends, and best practices Contribute to platform roadmap and innovation initiatives Promote a culture of automation, standardization, and continuous learning
