Nestdigital is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer-Product Owner for healthcare device software in Bangalore. The role focuses on owning the product vision, roadmap, and delivery, collaborating with engineering, UX, regulatory, and global stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant solutions.

The candidate will drive backlog, stakeholder alignment, and release planning while prioritizing patient safety and regulatory compliance across distributed teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
8–12 years of experience in software product development, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product delivery role.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, backlog prioritization, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Experience working with embedded software, device software, or connected medical devices.
Familiarity with medical device standards and regulations, such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and ISO 13485.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively with distributed, cross-functional, and international teams.

Responsibilities

Translate business objectives, customer needs, and product strategy into a clear product backlog and roadmap.
Define and prioritize user stories, features, acceptance criteria, and releases based on business value and technical feasibility.
Collaborate with global product managers, engineering teams, clinical experts, customers, and commercial teams.
Ensure alignment with applicable medical device regulations, quality management systems, risk management, and software lifecycle processes.
Work closely with software architects and development teams to clarify requirements, resolve dependencies, and support timely delivery.
Gather customer feedback, understand clinical workflows, and translate needs into product requirements.
Manage scope, priorities, dependencies, and release readiness while balancing quality, cost, and timelines.
Use product metrics, user feedback, and market insights to improve product value and usability.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of healthcare device software products.
