Associate Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise applications that integrate .NET Core, Azure managed services, microservices, and modern frontend technologies. This role requires deep expertise in design principles, strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills, and the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams. Reporting directly to the Director of Software Engineering in India, you will be responsible for embedding security, reliability, scalability, and performance into every layer of the solution while aligning architecture with long-term business and technology goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve application architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Lead design reviews and enforce adherence to OOAD, SOLID, and architectural best practices.
• Guide teams in implementing microservice and event-driven architectures, leveraging technologies such as Azure Service Bus and Redis Cache.
• Oversee database design and performance tuning for SQL Server (on-premise and Azure SQL).
• Provide hands‑on leadership in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, ensuring high availability and system reliability.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors to integrate APIs and external services into enterprise systems.
• Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD, and TDD practices across teams.
• Mentor engineers, foster a culture of engineering excellence, and align design choices with long‑term business goals.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., prompt engineering, developer assistants, monitoring optimizations) to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10-12 years of progressive experience in software engineering and architecture roles.
• Strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, OOAD, SOLID, and architectural patterns.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server (on-prem and managed service), including schema design and performance tuning.
• Experience in Azure managed services such as App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Redis Cache, Blob Storage, and Azure SQL.
• Experience with JavaScript/JQuery, ReactJS, or any similar modern frontend development frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with microservice architecture and inter‑service communication.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and observability practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization capabilities.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
