Job summary

AECOM Bangalore invites an Architect to join our Architecture team in a hybrid working model. The role focuses on basic architectural calculations, drawings, specifications, and liaison with design groups. We seek a Bachelor of Architecture with 2–5 years of experience, good communication, and the ability to see the bigger picture.

Prior Middle East/US/UK exposure is desirable but not essential. Hybrid flexibility supports collaboration across offices including Gurgaon, with a pathway to grow

Job Description

Here is what you will do:

• Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
• Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
• Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
• Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
• Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
• May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.

Qualifications

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• A Bachelor of Architecture is required
• Applicants are required to have between 2-5 years of experience in Architecture, Middle East/US/UK experience would be desirable but are not essential.
• Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.
• Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects.
