Job summary

Lighthouse Search Opc in Mumbai seeks an AVP/VP Arbitrage Fund Manager/Dealer to own and manage an arbitrage portfolio with disciplined execution and strict SEBI compliance.

Role requires identifying arbitrage opportunities, managing daily trading, monitoring margins and liquidity, and collaborating with brokers, risk, and operations while drafting portfolio commentary.

Qualifications

• Experience in arbitrage/equity derivatives at MF/PMS/AIF/prop desk.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cash & F&O markets, margins, settlements.
• Advanced Excel; Python/VBA working knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Looking for an arbitrage dealer

ONLY PEOPLE WITH 80% OF EXPERIENCE IN MANAGING ARBITRAGE FUND SHOULD APPLY

• 100% EQUITY EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE SUITABLE FOR THIS ROLE

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a candidate who can own and manage an arbitrage portfolio with disciplined execution, strong risk control, and compliance with SEBI norms.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Identify and execute arbitrage opportunities
• 2. Manage daily trading, order execution, and rollovers.
• 3. Monitor basis, margins, and liquidity in real time.
• 4. Collaborate with brokers, operations, risk, and compliance for smooth settlements.
• 5. Continuously work on improving portfolio management and operational processes.
• 6. Draft portfolio commentary, and outlook notes. Communicate internally & externally as needed.
