Job summary

Vee HealthTek in Chennai is seeking an AR Caller Trainee to support AR calling and medical billing processes. You will review claims and follow up with insurance providers to resolve denials and underpayments.

The ideal candidate is a graduate with strong verbal communication and analytical skills, willing to work night shifts aligned to US time zones, and eager to learn CPT and DX coding. This entry-level role offers training, and a path to develop in medical billing with opportunities for

Responsibilities

• Review providers' claims not paid by insurance.
• Follow-up with insurance companies to check claim status and request required information.
• Contact payers for explanations of denials and underpayments; prepare appeal packets as needed.
• Make corrections to claims based on responses and refile as required.
• Document actions in the billing system and meet daily performance standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review providers claim that have not been paid by the insurance companies
• Follow-up with Insurance companies to understand the status of the claim - Initiate telephone calls or verify through payer websites or otherwise request the required information from insurance companies. Contact insurance companies for further explanation of denials and under payments and where needed, prepare appeal packets for submission to payers
• Based on the responses/ findings, make the necessary corrections to the claim and re-submit/ refile as the case may be
• Document actions taken into claims billing system
• Meet the established performance standards daily
• Improve skills on CPT codes and DX Codes. Make collections with convincing approach.
