Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aprimo DAM & MRM Lead to own the strategic direction, architecture, and team leadership of our enterprise Aprimo Digital Asset Management and Marketing Resource Management platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Architecture & Governance

• Own the long-term architectural roadmap for the Aprimo DAM and MRM platform - taxonomy evolution, metadata schema strategy, integration architecture, and AI capability adoption.


• Define and enforce enterprise-wide DAM and MRM governance standards: naming conventions, field design principles, classification ownership models, and change management processes.


• Review data models, taxonomies, and metadata structures within Aprimo MRM and DAM to ensure accurate reporting, data quality, and future extensibility.


• Coordinate with business stakeholders to translate complex marketing and compliance requirements into detailed Aprimo configuration blueprints and solution documents.


• Define governance guidelines for Aprimo configuration standards, naming conventions, and usage policies so that global teams follow consistent practices.

MRM - Marketing Planning & Financial Management

• Configure and manage Aprimo MRM's marketing planning and budgeting modules - including plan hierarchies, activity types, budget structures, and fiscal year setup aligned to enterprise marketing operating models.


• Design and maintain MRM financial workflows including budget request, approval, allocation, accrual, and reconciliation processes - ensuring finance and marketing teams operate from a single source of truth.


• Build and govern MRM project and activity templates that standardise how marketing programmes are initiated, tracked, and closed across global teams.


• Configure MRM work management capabilities - task management, project timelines, resource assignments, and capacity planning - to support marketing operations teams.


• Design MLR (Medical/Legal/Review) and compliance-driven approval workflows within Aprimo MRM for regulated industries, including routing rules, version locking, and audit trail requirements.


• Maintain and evolve MRM field design - custom fields, picklists, calculated fields, and conditional logic - ensuring that data captured at the plan and activity level supports downstream reporting needs.


• Define and enforce MRM data governance standards for plan naming conventions, cost centre mapping, vendor management, and invoice processing workflows.


• Configure and maintain MRM reporting and dashboard frameworks - including standard and custom reports across budget performance, activity status, resource utilisation, and campaign ROI.


• Manage MRM user role and permission architecture - defining role hierarchies, team structures, and access scoping aligned to organisational and regional team models.


• Support MRM integrations with finance and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) for budget synchronisation, purchase order management, invoice reconciliation, and financial close processes.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of DAM Specialists, Analysts, MRM Administrators, and Integration Developers - setting technical direction and reviewing their configuration and integration work.


• Lead development teams by providing detailed interface specifications, mapping documents, and solution use cases that reduce implementation rework.


• Conduct code and configuration reviews for API integrations, ensuring adherence to security, performance, and maintainability standards.

DAM Configuration & Taxonomy

• Configure Aprimo DAM capabilities to streamline asset intake, metadata modeling, and governance processes that improve asset discoverability and reuse.


• Design and maintain a scalable, organisation-wide taxonomy (classification hierarchy) aligned to how marketing teams browse and search for assets.

Integration Architecture

• Own the end-to-end integration architecture connecting Aprimo to the broader MarTech and enterprise systems landscape (CMS, PIM, CRM, marketing automation, CDN).


• Design and build API-based integrations using the Aprimo REST API - including asset ingestion pipelines, metadata synchronisation, and event-driven workflows.


• Design and build MRM API integrations - including marketing plan data synchronisation, activity status feeds, budget and spend data pipelines, and bi-directional connectors with finance and ERP platforms.


• Implement OAuth 2.0 authentication flows, manage API client registrations, and maintain secure credential handling for all service accounts.


• Develop and maintain webhook configurations for event-driven integrations with downstream systems (CMS, PIM, email platforms, CDN).


• Build and maintain bulk asset ingestion pipelines handling multi-step processes: record creation, chunked file upload, metadata mapping, commit, and error handling.


• Implement and maintain the Aprimo Content Selector SDK within third-party applications - ensuring scoped authorisation, rendition control, and audit logging.

Migration

• Lead asset migration projects from legacy DAM systems or shared drives into Aprimo - including source audit, de-duplication, metadata mapping, and validation.


• Lead MRM data migration projects from legacy marketing planning tools, spreadsheets, or prior MRM platforms into Aprimo - including plan and activity data mapping, historical budget data migration, open workflow migration, and user acceptance validation.

Aprimo certification is a plus.
