Job summary

Piramal Pharma Ltd. in India is seeking an Apprentice - Production to learn and support manufacturing operations on the production floor.

The role involves supporting new machine or pack-profile implementation, supervising line activities, maintaining c-GMP documentation, and reporting via ERP. Candidates with B.Pharma or B.Sc (full-time) are welcome to apply and grow in a structured apprentice program.

Qualifications

• B.Pharm or B.Sc with full-time study.
• Familiarity with c-GMP practices and record-keeping.
• Ability to maintain ERP documentation and BMR/BPR entries.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates operations for new machines or pack profiles.
• Allocates workmen across workstations on shift basis.
• Supervises line operations.
• Maintains c-GMP practices and documentation.
• Checks process parameters and maintains related documentation.
• Fills Batch Manufacturing Record and Batch Packing Record before submission.
• Reports daily activities in the ERP system.
• Monitors machine speed and reports discrepancies.
• Provides classroom training on SOP and cGMP.
• Handles minor packaging and processing machine problems.
• Maintains department discipline.
• Allocates manpower for new line.

Apprentice - Production

• Helps in demonstrating the operation in case of a new machine or a new pack-profile is implemented.
• Allocates workmen for different workstations on shift-to-shift basis.
• Supervises the line operations.
• Maintains c-GMP practices along with documentation in various records.
• Checks In process parameters and maintain its documentations including finished goods checking.
• Fills BMR (Batch manufacturing Record) and BPR (batch packing record) correctly before submission to his superiors.
• Reports on day-to-day basis activities in ERP system.
• Monitors speed of Processing & Packing machines and output according to the run time and reports discrepancies.
• Imparts on job/ Classroom training to the workmen for SOP and cGMP systems
• Handles the minor problems related to packaging & processing machines.
• Maintains discipline in the department.
• Implement the correct allocation of Men power for new line.
