Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Apprentice Azure PaaS Developer to join our Information Technology team. You will help build cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure PaaS, work with Copilot Studio to design AI-enabled solutions, and integrate with enterprise data using REST APIs and connectors.

You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control with Git, and collaboration with engineers and analysts to translate requirements into actionable tasks while upholding data governance and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent with specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or AI/Data Science.
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming and software design.
• Experience with cloud concepts and MS Azure services beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI capabilities and Copilot Studio is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and deploying cloud-native applications on Azure PaaS (App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure SQL, Storage).
• Build and refine AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and integrate with enterprise data via connectors and REST APIs.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated deployments using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Collaborate with engineers and business analysts to translate requirements into technical tasks.
• Document designs and learnings clearly for the team while following responsible AI practices.

• Microsoft Copilot Studio — building topics, actions, and generative answers
• Large Language Model (LLM) and generative‑AI concepts, including prompt engineering
• Grounding agents with knowledge sources and enterprise data
• Basic understanding of SQL and working with relational data
• Familiarity with source control (Git) and collaborative development
• Exposure to:
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Azure AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, or Azure Cognitive Services
• Microsoft 365 Copilot and its extensibility model
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep/ARM/Terraform)
• Academic or personal projects involving:
