Job summary

Viavi Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated tests using Playwright, validate REST APIs, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires collaboration with developers in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, participation in test planning, and ongoing improvement of test coverage and execution efficiency. AI-assisted testing know-how is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing automated tests using Playwright or similar tools.
• Proficiency in planning, writing, and maintaining test cases and test suites.
• Experience logging, tracking defects and coordinating with developers.
• Familiarity with REST API validation and automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Awareness of AI-assisted testing concepts and tools.
