Kearney Activate in Bangalore is seeking an Applied AI Solution Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications for real clients. You will work in hybrid, cross-functional teams on end-to-end GenAI solutions, integrating components into services and collaborating with senior engineers and client teams.

You will contribute to solution design, development, testing, and delivery, growing into greater ownership over time in a hands-on engineering role focused on practical AI outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python, SQL, APIs, and building small-scale microservices.
• Experience with LLM APIs and platforms (Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Hugging Face, Anthropic).
• Familiarity with GenAI concepts including prompting, embeddings, vector search, and basic fine-tuning approaches.
• Experience or exposure to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector stores for knowledge retrieval.
• Ability to design simple solution architectures combining Python and cloud tools; strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Comfortable in client-facing situations and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement agent workflows (tool-calling, memory, routing) using frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain and evaluate agent behavior.

Role

As an Applied AI Solution Engineer based in Bangalore (hybrid), you will work in cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy AI-driven applications leveraging large language models, agents, and retrieval techniques. This is a hands-on, client-facing engineering role where you will contribute to solution design, development, testing, and delivery under the guidance of senior engineers and grow into taking more ownership over time.

Technical Skills & Requirements

• Experience with or exposure to LLM APIs and platforms (Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Hugging Face, Anthropic).
• Familiarity with GenAI concepts including prompting, embeddings, vector search, and basic fine‑tuning approaches.
• Experience or exposure to retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and vector stores for knowledge retrieval.
• Ability to design simple solution architectures combining Python and cloud tools; strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.

Nice to Have
