Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking an Applications Engineer I to design and develop software for Oracle EBS-driven cycles. You will manage the full SDLC, implement enhancements, verify bugs, and support beta activities while coordinating with stakeholders across multiple time zones.

The role emphasizes strong Oracle EBS domain knowledge, SQL/PLSQL proficiency, and ability to translate business requirements into technical specs. Agile exposure and collaboration with junior staff are valued.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of technical and functional experience in Oracle EBS.
• Experience across Distribution, CRM, Supply Chain and Manufacturing domains.
• Order to Cash and Procure to Pay in Oracle R12.
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Forms.
• Knowledge of Reports/BI Publisher/Workflow/OAF/ADF/Ext-JS/Java.
• Knowledge of REST API is an advantage.
• Experience with custom functionalities alongside standard EBS processes.
• Able to translate business requirements into functional/technical specs.
• Agile methodology experience is an advantage.
• Dev-Ops tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Flex deploys.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Operates under moderate supervision and coordinates with stakeholders across time zones.
• Coaching and mentoring junior team members.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designs and develops software solutions to meet business requirements in Order to Cash/Procure to Pay cycles.
• Coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.
• Manages full software development life cycle including testing, implementation, and auditing.
• Performs product design, bug verification, and beta support, which may require research and analysis.

What We Are Looking For

• 5 to 10 years of Technical and Functional experience in Oracle EBS

• Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles in Oracle R12 Application
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Forms
• Knowledge of Reports/BI Publisher/Workflow/OAF/ADF/Ext-JS/Java
• Knowledge of REST API is advantage.

• Execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications. Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Participate in software upgrades, revisions, fixes and patches as mandated by the vendor.
• Coordinate with the stakeholders across multiple time zones
• Coaching and mentoring junior team members
