Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking an HL7 Rhapsody Integration Support Engineer to join our Noida-based team. The role provides L2/L3 production support for the Rhapsody Integration Engine and HL7 interfaces, with 24x7 shift coverage and collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and reliable message processing.

You will analyze HL7 messages, troubleshoot routing, mappings and transformations, monitor server resources and logs, and perform incident resolution,

We are currently seeking a Application Support & Maintenance - Microsoft Technologies/Java/Middleware to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Role: HL7 Rhapsody Integration Support Engineer

Support Level: L2/L3

Experience: Typically 4–8 years

The role requires working from the designated ODCs in Noida, Bangalore, or Hyderabad and adhering to the assigned 24x7 shift roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Rhapsody Integration Engine and associated healthcare interfaces.
• Monitor Rhapsody routes, communication points, message queues, errors, and system health.
• Troubleshoot failed, rejected, delayed, duplicate, or missing HL7 messages.
• Perform message tracing from source application through Rhapsody to destination systems.
• Analyze HL7 messages and identify issues related to segments, fields, data formatting, mappings, and transformations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, MLLP, HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP/FTP and web services.
• Investigate interface failures and perform message reprocessing/resubmission after resolving the underlying issue.
• Support commonly used HL7 message types such as ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT and MDM.
• Troubleshoot HL7 ACK/NAK responses and application-level message rejection.
• Support Rhapsody routes, filters, communication points, mappings, lookup tables and message transformations.
• Perform interface configuration changes and deployments following change-management processes.
• Monitor server resources, application services, logs, queues, certificates and connectivity.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, network and vendor teams during incident resolution.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring production incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Participate in incident, problem, change and release-management activities.
• Maintain operational documentation, interface inventories, troubleshooting procedures, SOPs and knowledge articles.
• Participate in an on-call/support rotation for critical production interfaces where required.
