Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an Application Support Engineer to design and implement Windchill‑ERP integration architectures in Bengaluru. The role emphasizes EBOM to MBOM synchronization, REST APIs, and middleware governance across business systems.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams, guide interface workshops, and ensure data consistency and lifecycle alignment throughout the integration landscape.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in PTC Windchill PLM.
• Proven Windchill‑ERP integrations with INFOR, SAP, or similar.
• Hands-on with REST APIs and OData services.
• Experience with middleware gateways such as TYK, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
• Knowledge of Windchill ESI, Info*Engine, and web services.
• Strong data mapping, transformation, and integration patterns.
• Experience managing large BOM structures and change management.
• Familiar with JSON, XML and API security (OAuth, JWT).

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end integration architecture between Windchill and ERP systems
• Lead Windchill‑ERP integration initiatives (EBOM to MBOM, Part, Document, and Change synchronization)
• Define and implement RESTful and OData-based APIs for seamless data exchange
• Work with middleware platforms (e.g., TYK, MuleSoft, Boomi) to enable scalable integrations
• Configure and customize Windchill ESI (Enterprise Systems Integration)
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and refine integration requirements
• Participate in and lead interface workshops with client teams
• Ensure data consistency, governance, and lifecycle alignment across systems
• Implement error handling, monitoring, and retry mechanisms for integrations
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to development and client teams

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in PTC Windchill PLM (10+ years preferred)
• Proven experience in Windchill‑ERP integrations (INFOR, SAP, or similar)
• Hands‑on expertise in REST APIs and OData services
• Experience with middleware/API gateways (TYK preferred)
• Knowledge of Windchill ESI, Info*Engine, and web services
• Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and integration patterns
• Experience in handling large BOM structures and change management processes
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, and API security standards (OAuth, JWT, etc.)

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in PTC Windchill
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office
• A 15 years full time education is required
