Job summary

Novotech is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to configure, develop, and continuously improve the ServiceNow platform across operations, enhancements, and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with platform leads and business stakeholders to ensure stability, reliability, and ongoing delivery of improvements.

The role involves client/server-side scripting, integrations, testing practices, and a focus on scalable, maintainable design within scoped applications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development and configuration.
• Experience delivering workflows, Flow Designer automation and orchestration.
• Strong platform configuration capability (forms, tables, fields, views) and deployment practices.
• Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub) and authentication patterns.
• Working knowledge of ATF testing and performance considerations.
• Solid troubleshooting and operational support experience.
• Experience designing within scoped applications using modular, maintainable design principles.
• Strong understanding of cross-scope interactions, API design (Script Includes) and dependency management.
• Strong understanding of CSDM functions in an Enterprise Environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for configuring, developing, and continuously improving the ServiceNow platform. The role spans three distinct focus areas to set expectations on day-to-day work, iterative delivery, and larger initiatives:
Operations & Support: Ensuring stability, reliability, and effective support through incident/request handling, maintenance, and documentation.
Enhancements & Continuous Improvement: Delivering incremental improvements, automation, integrations, testing, and uplift of platform quality.
Strategic Initiatives & Platform Evolution: Contributing to larger-scale capabilities and complex solutions in close collaboration with platform leads, platform owners, and business stakeholders to align delivery with platform strategy and organisational priorities.
