Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7–9 years of experience in application packaging.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Installer (MSI/MSIX).
• Basic to advanced PowerShell / scripting knowledge.
• Experience with software deployment tools (SCCM/MECM, Intune).
• Understanding of registry, file system, and OS internals.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Package applications using tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM (MECM), AdminStudio, InstallShield, or Wise Package Studio.
• Create and maintain MSI, MSIX, and EXE installers.
• Perform application virtualization (e.g., App-V, VMware ThinApp).
• Conduct application testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Ensure compatibility with different versions of Windows OS environments.
• Manage software deployment, upgrades, and patching.
• Work with IT teams to ensure smooth deployment via Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Maintain proper documentation for packaged applications.
• Follow enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Provide support for packaging-related issues and incidents.
