Job summary

Radiant invites applications for an Application Engineer to join our Integration team in Chennai. This role focuses on building and supporting enterprise data integration solutions using the o9 Digital Brain platform, offering hands-on exposure to SQL, Python, APIs, and cloud technologies.

You will learn data engineering fundamentals, contribute to ETL pipelines, and collaborate with consultants on global projects, with structured training and mentorship guiding your growth toward senior roles.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA in CS/IT/IS/AI/DS with consistent academics.
• Strong SQL, Python, and data engineering foundations.
• Experience or exposure to cloud and big data ecosystems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn enterprise data integration and ETL processes.
• Develop data extraction, transformation, and validation pipelines.
• Support data integration between enterprise systems and the o9 platform.
• Participate in data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Assist in configuring batch and API-based data integration.
• Contribute to unit, system, and integration testing including UAT.

As an Application Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for building and supporting enterprise data integration solutions for global customers using the o9 Digital Brain, one of the world's leading AI-powered Supply Chain Planning platforms.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to build a strong foundation in Data Engineering, Enterprise Integration, Cloud Technologies, and Supply Chain Planning while working on large-scale digital transformation projects. Through structured training and mentorship, you will gain hands-on experience with enterprise technologies and modern integration practices.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Integration team, you will:

• Learn the fundamentals of enterprise data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Develop algorithms and programs to extract, validate, transform, and analyze business data.
• Assist in developing and supporting data integration pipelines between enterprise systems and the o9 platform.
• Participate in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities to ensure data quality.
• Support the development of data transformation logic using SQL, Python, PySpark, Airflow, SSIS and ETL tools.
• Assist in configuring and monitoring batch and API-based data integration processes.
• Participate in unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot data and integration issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data mapping documents and support guides.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, technical architects, and customer teams throughout project implementation.
• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and industry best practices related to Data Engineering and Supply Chain Planning.
• BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA graduates from Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics, or related disciplines.
• Consistent academic performance with a passion for technology and problem-solving.

Desired Technical Skills

Candidates should have a good understanding of:

• SQL and Relational Database concepts
• Programming using Python, PySpark or Java
• Basic understanding of APIs, ETL concepts and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of relational databases, dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehousing concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Cloud Computing Systems such as AWS, Azure, GCS etc.
• Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hive, Spark, Hadoop) is a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with the concepts of Lakehouse Architecture, Data Lake and Delta Lake
• Exposure to OpenAI, LLM-based integration patterns, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is a plus
