TRANTRONIX Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated and technically proficient Executive Engineer to join our Electro-Mechanical Systems (Motor & Generator) division. We push the boundaries of motor-generator & integrated drive, the candidate will play a pivotal role in Application Engineer, to assist our New Product Development (NPD) segment & vertical. This role is ideal for a mid-level professional who thrives in a "hands-on” NPD and Technical Provisioning environment, integration for the automotive systems & applications.

2.) Job Summary:

As a generalist role responsible for the development of the physical electro-mechanical & mechatronics components, including Electric motors & generators, Solenoids, MOSFET/IGBT based Power Module, Actuators & Gear Drives and analog/digital circuits (Encoder, resolver, Solenoids & Switches). Further integration with, often focusing on system-level functionality, testing.

3.) Key Responsibilities:

A. Evaluation of Technical Requiremnts & Prototype Development:

• System Design & Process Development: Assistance in Handling end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) activities & Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution.
• BOM Preparation & Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed BOM (Bill of Materials) and documentations (PFD, Control Plan etc.) preparation to execute the manufacturing Processes.
• Design and drawings review: - Review & implementation of mechanical designs, drawings blueprints and specifications. Evaluation of GD&T in accordance with manufacturing process.
• Process Monitoring & validation:Monitor project timelines, quality standards, process flow mapping, Inspection reports preparation & approval, Qualified Laboratory Documentation, Material / Performance Test Results collection.

Prototype samples fabrication: Build and troubleshoot functional prototypes, identifying root causes analysis.

B. Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) & Compliance

• Quality Frameworks: Drive APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for all new electro-mechanical and electronic components.
• Audits & Process Validation: Conduct regular supplier facility audits (process and system audits) to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards and assess manufacturing capabilities for precision components like encoders, resolvers, and actuators.
• Defect Management & Resolution: Lead root cause analysis for any supplier-related quality issues using methodologies like 8D, Fishbone, and 5-Why. Implement and verify Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

C. System Integration & Testing Validation

• Component Verification: Oversee the First Article Inspection (FAI) and validate prototypes of electric motors, solenoids, and power modules against functional test procedures.
• System-Level Functionality: Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure individual Electro-Mechanical (Stacks, winding, Core, Gears, shafts etc) & mechatronic components integrate perfectly into the larger system.
• Testing Oversight: Define, review, and approve supplier testing protocols (environmental, electrical, and mechanical stress tests) for analog/digital circuits and drive systems.

4.) Qualification Requirements:

• Education & Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Mechatronics.
• M.E. / M.Tech in the similar discipline shall be an add on advantage.

5.) Technical Skills:

Electro-Mechanical Knowledge: In depth knowledge of the working principles, manufacturing processes, and failure modes of Electric Motors, Generators, Actuators, and Solenoids.

Electronics & Power Systems: Familiarity with MOSFET/IGBT power modules, analog/digital circuits, switches, and precision sensors (Encoders/Resolvers).

Engineering Drawings: Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, schematics, PCB layouts, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Quality Core Tools: Strong hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA (Design and Process), SPC, and MSA.

• Preferred Technical Tools: Simulation software (ANSYS Maxwell/Motor CADD, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, or LTspice).
• Automotive Knowledge: Familiarity & awareness with ISO 9001:2025 /IATF 16949 and other relevant automotive industry standards.
• EV/HEV powertrain architectures & systems like ADAS, Autonomous Driving, Hardware in Loop (HIL) Testing and vehicle communication bus systems shall be preference.

6.) Soft Skills:
