Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with V93000 ATE and programming for test development.

Responsibilities

• Integrates Advantest products into customer environments and provides hardware/software test enablement.
• Develops test programs for V93000 using SmarTest 7/8 and Test Method coding to meet customer requirements.
• Analyzes IC parameters, test philosophy, and high-speed digital fundamentals to optimize test yield and reliability.
• Creates project plans and delivers customer training materials on test methodologies and tooling.

Job description

• Any Bachelors Degree or equivalent from fully accredited college or university or master s degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Electronics with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) knowledge is strongly desired.
• - Minimum 5-10 years of experience in an electrical/wireless testing of SoC Integrated Circuits in a Test Engineering role.
• - V93000 ATE test engineering experience
• - Knowledge and experience on test program development for the V93000 using SmarTest 7 and SmarTest 8 and Test Method coding
• - Understanding of Integrated Device Parameters, Test Philosophy, High Speed Digital fundamentals, PA fundamentals, industry standard test

The Applications Engineer position delivers technical expertise for High Performance Compute device testing solution implementation to customer based on Advantest 93K products and services. It provides support for both pre-sales and post-sales assessment of customer needs as well as quick implementation/execution of the solution. Youll work on cutting edge technology working side by side with our customers in close collaboration with R&D and marketing in a cross-functional, international environment. This is an ideal position for a software or electrical engineer with a strong test engineering background, requiring both in depth knowledge of the V93000 system, as well as strong SW skills for writing test programs and tooling to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include:

• - Integrates Advantest products and services (at the system/solutions level) into customer s environment.
• - Perform analysis of complex IC manufacturer customer requirements providing expertise on topics such as: Performance, Design, Utilization, Optimization, test program development/conversions and Implementation Strategies.
• - Accountable for the design, scoping, and technical validity of the solution to achieve the customers business objectives.
• - Generate project plans for complex projects and track project completion for the technologies range from digital and high-speed SoC technologies.
• - Create and deliver customer training classes and consultation materials.
• - Communicate with customers relative to the completeness, repeatability, and accuracy of test programs. Review apparent issues and propose solutions as needed.
• - Design Evaluation boards, Engineering and Production Load board for test and work with PCB designer to ensure all the best practices has been fulfilled.
• - Define, develop, debug, and implement all major elements of electrical test programs for specific device types utilizing high-speed ATE and compliant test methodologies.
• - Conduct experimental investigations as to test methodologies, test fixture design and development, product yield improvement, process quality controls, etc. Analyze experiment results and initiate / implement solutions.
• - Provide technical analysis of related product issues and participate in the resolution of any issues found.
