Job summary

Tech Data APAC in Mumbai, India, is seeking a skilled Java backend and React frontend developer to join our dynamic team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable services and UI components, collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to ship high-quality software.

You should have 3-5 years of experience with Java (8+), Spring Boot, microservices, React, and modern web technologies.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in Java (Java version 8+)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot (REST APIs, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with React.js (functional components, hooks, state management)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience integrating frontend React apps with backend APIs
• Knowledge of RESTful web services and JSON
• Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Maven/Gradle)
• Knowledge of Redux/Context API or other state management tools
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jest)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices
