Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Application Developer to design scalable full‑stack platforms. You will build front‑end apps with JavaScript/TypeScript/ReactJS and back‑end services with ASP.NET Web API and C#.

The role reports to the IT Team Lead and requires collaboration across product owners and architects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software development, strong Agile experience, and hands‑on Cloud/Azure skills to deliver modern, API‑driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or related field.
• Experience designing scalable, full‑stack applications.
• Proficient in front‑end and back‑end web development.
• Experience with APIs and cloud technologies.
• Strong collaboration with product owners and architects.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions and implement best practices.
• Experience with Agile development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

Job Title: Application Developer

Summary

The Full Stack Engineer will design reliable, scalable platforms to build our important systems and services throughout the company. As an experienced and passionate member of an agile capability team you will deploy leading edge engineering and product configuration solutions that deliver value to our customers. The team uses .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS, RESTful web services and Azure cloud technology to provide these new solutions.

We are open to hire in Bangalore, Pune, Noida & Chennai. You will report to Team Lead- IT.

Your Responsibilities

• Design scalable full‑stack applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build high‑quality software solutions.
• Develop front‑end applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, Redux, Thunk, HTML, and CSS frameworks.
• Develop backend services using ASP.NET Web API, C#, .NET Core, and SQL.
• Work within an Agile development environment.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and automated testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Adapt to new technologies and evolving our needs.

The Essentials - You Will Have

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or related field
• Develop, extend, and test Digital Tools services
• Design APIs and user-facing web applications
• Debug production issues across services and our tech stack
• Identify design problems and create usable solutions
• Engage with product owners to determine/refine requirements and prioritise/estimate new features
• Work with architects to lead architecture discussions and pioneer software development best practices
• Create required test scenarios/plans to ensure complete testing on all new and changed components
• Help to create a culture of openness, and transparency
• Collaborate with capability team to build an Agile culture in teams
• Coordinate with partners to understand and document functional requirements related to the end-user experience
• Understand user needs based on functional requirements, user research, market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

• Typically requires 5+ years of software development experience
• Experience in systems development lifecycle
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Cloud-native PaaS hosting experience in Azure
• Experience building modern, public-facing UIs and APIs consumed by multiple teams
• Experience with TypeScript and a modern UI framework like React or Vue
• Experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL/ Azure SQL
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-based solutions
• Experience with business complexity and project interdependencies
• Experience with CI/CD Scripting and Automation with PowerShell, Terraform, YAML
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and changing our requirements
