Key Qualifications

• Experience with antenna design/tests, antenna and wave propagation, anechoic chambers, and radiation performance evaluation like TRP & TIS.
• Working experience with different lab equipment: network analyzers, signal generators, signal analyzers, call boxes (i.e., CMW/ UXM/ 8960), channel emulators, etc.
• Experience with different wireless communication systems such as GSM/GPRS/EDGE/LTE, 5G mmWave, etc. including the corresponding system level specifications (e.g., ETSI 51.010, 51.05) is a plus.
• Experience with carrier/industry conformance radiated performance requirements like 3GPP, PTCRB, CTIA, ETSI, etc.
• Excellent communication skills required, both written & verbal.
• Programming skills in C, C++ would be a plus.

Description

– Validating OTA Cellular test cases for different carrier/industry conformance requirements in certification test setups.

– Translating industry conformance/regulatory/carrier specification requirements into test cases.

– Coordinating with regulatory compliance/carrier management teams to ensure product validation covers all certification/performance tests.

– Define/execute validation plan for custom SW features.

– Debugging marginal/failure tests with cross-functional teams like RFHW/Antenna/Product Design/EE/etc. and drive design changes to address issues.

– Maintain test setups via periodic checks, calibration, etc.

– Drive planning/executing on final radiated certification testing at 3rd party test labs for PTCRB/CTIA testing.
