Job summary

Stellar Exports seeks an experienced Fashion Designer with 3–5 years in knitted garments for exports or brands. You will lead from print artwork to physical samples, create vector files for screen printing, DTG/DTF and embroidery, and manage tech packs and mock-ups.

Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, and graphic design is essential. You will source knits, coordinate with job workers and trims suppliers, and drive sampling to production while coordinating travel to Mumbai area vendors

Qualifications

• Education in Fashion Designing or Textile Design is required.
• 3 to 5 years experience in knitted garments for exports or brands.
• Experience with screen printing, DTF/DTG, computer embroidery, and dyeing & washes.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, vector art, CAD, and graphic designing.
• Experience making hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, track suits, T‑shirts and streetwear/loungewear.
• Knowledge of fleece & French terry, jersey fabrics; pattern making and garment construction.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing knit fabric, and coordinating with job workers (cutting master, tailor, printers, embroiderers, dyers & washers) and trims suppliers.
• Create vector files for screen print, DTG/DTF, and computer embroidery; artwork & flat sketches.
• Prepare mock-ups and tech packs with details to communicate with job workers, printers & master/tailors.
• Develop samples and execute production from start to end with job workers.
• Execute 5 samples per week, oversee sampling stages, ensure sample quality & inspection.
• Visit job workers and update daily workflow; plan work for next week.

Maintain record of fabric consumptions for sampling & production.

Able to Travel in Mumbai / Bhiwandi & surrounding areas for Job workers & Vendors
