Job summary

Conduent is seeking a Software Developer to join its core product-engineering team. You will design and develop high-performance APIs and platform services powering modern digital apps.

Build and maintain backend services using .NET Core, REST and gRPC, with SQL Server access via Dapper and EF, and ensure quality through automated tests. Collaborate with product and frontend teams to ship high-quality features, contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and apply security best practices

Qualifications

• Experience with .NET Core / .NET 8/9 and C# in backend services.
• Proficient in designing REST APIs and gRPC services.
• Experience with automated testing (Playwright) and data access (SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Dapper and Entity Framework, Azure DevOps, and Git workflows.
• Understanding of API security (JWT, OAuth2) and cloud-native patterns.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a software Developer, you'll be part of our core product-engineering team, designing and developing high-performance APIs and platform services that power modern digital applications.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core (.NET 8/9 and C#).
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and gRPC services used by applications.
• Work with SQL Server for relational data storage and use Dapper & Entity Framework for data access.
• Write automated unit and integration tests for end-to-end testing using Playwright.
• Work with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
• Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams to ship high-quality features.

Required Skills

• Experience with .NET Core / .NET 8/9 and C#
• Experience developing REST APIs and Web APIs
• Experience working with gRPC services
• Experience with automated testing tools(like Playwright)
• Experience with SQL Server skills.
• Experience with Dapper and Entity Framework.

Nice to Have
